   HuBei Province with its 60.2 million people and an area of 180,000 Square Kilometers (69,500 Square Miles) right smack in the heart of China’s YangZi River region and as such, is the central China transport hub and therefore referred to as the Gateway to the central China provinces of HeNan to the north, ShaanXi XiAn northwest, ChongQing in the west, HuNan & JiangXi south, and AnHui in the east.
   And once the “might” of Three Gorges Dam comes on stream plus 9 other already existing hydroelectric power stations, HuBei will be a “powerhouse” supplying plenty of “cheap” electricity for all the surrounding heavy industries from iron & steel to car manufacturing.
